End the fight with Kill Shot.
I press around 6-7 buttons per fight, excluding Hunter’s Mark, trinkets and other useful skills, such as Feign Death, switching aspects, sending my pets on the target, Rapid Fire, Readiness, Kill Command, Mend Pet, Misdirect, Call of the Wild…
Cooldowns are a big part of a hunters life, especially when speced Marksman. Survival hunters has it a bit easier, but they too have to watch procs and different buffs, while watching some cooldowns.
How do you best keep track of all these things? I use a few addons to manage all the cooldowns I have, and these addons are generic and really can be applied to all classes and specs.
OmniCC:
Shows the cooldowns on the button of the spell, which is very handy, but maybe not for the smallest buttons or the UI with a lot of action bars, but still a great and easy way to watch cooldowns.
!CooldownFader:
A simple addon that puts a fading layer on top of the spell, pretty clean if that’s how you like to keep it.
Power Auras Classic:
I mostly used this when I was speced as Survival, for the Black Arrow cooldown mostly, but this addon can be used to almost ANYTHING in the game, and is one of my absolute favorite addons in the game.
So, this was a short little post, just to get me going with the blogging again, but do expect more the comming days, I feel my fingers wanting to type more and be creative!
Good to see you are bloging again.. One good hunter addon is Zhuntermod , not for cooldowns but good anyways.
