God damn hunting…

So. Erh. Yeaaah.

I don’t really have anything good to write, at all.
So for now, just live long and prosper, until I can find some creativity.

And oh, log on to http://frogpants.com/ and download some of the most AWSUM podcasts ever. They’re not all about WoW (even though my favourite one, The Instance, is about WoW).
Just try one out, I’m pretty sure there’s something there for everyone.

Serpent Sting.
Chimaera Shot.
Aimed Shot.
Silencing Shot.
Steady Shot.
Steady Shot.
Steady Shot.
Rinse and repeat.
End the fight with Kill Shot.

I press around 6-7 buttons per fight, excluding Hunter’s Mark, trinkets and other useful skills, such as Feign Death, switching aspects, sending my pets on the target, Rapid Fire, Readiness, Kill Command, Mend Pet, Misdirect, Call of the Wild…

Cooldowns are a big part of a hunters life, especially when speced Marksman. Survival hunters has it a bit easier, but they too have to watch procs and different buffs, while watching some cooldowns.

How do you best keep track of all these things? I use a few addons to manage all the cooldowns I have, and these addons are generic and really can be applied to all classes and specs.

OmniCC:
Shows the cooldowns on the button of the spell, which is very handy, but maybe not for the smallest buttons or the UI with a lot of action bars, but still a great and easy way to watch cooldowns.

!CooldownFader:
A simple addon that puts a fading layer on top of the spell, pretty clean if that’s how you like to keep it.

Power Auras Classic:
I mostly used this when I was speced as Survival, for the Black Arrow cooldown mostly, but this addon can be used to almost ANYTHING in the game, and is one of my absolute favorite addons in the game.

So, this was a short little post, just to get me going with the blogging again, but do expect more the comming days, I feel my fingers wanting to type more and be creative!

So, first of all, hai. Summer is going to it’s end and school is starting any minute now. This actually means more WoW (at least more reagular playing) and more WoW means more blogging! Yay! I can finally start blogging fo shizzle.

What have i been up to these past few weeks in game then?

The first big drop is that i unlearned skinning and leatherworking. Both maxed out, 450. Gah. It was very hard to press that little button, I tell ya. I’ve been a skinner and leatherworker since frikkin level 10! But, it was for a good cause. I never really did any big bucks out of my trades, even though I know I could have if I wanted too…

Anyways, I picked up mining and engineering instead! Wosha! And I maxed out mining in less than tree days. Pretty awesome. Maxing out engineering took about a week, since i had a hard time grinding mats and doing dailies, so I lost a pretty penny. BUT! NOW! I! CAN! RESURECT! And it feel so gooood! I can also make my own bullet, which helped me pull up my DPS. Ofcourse I also have a Jeeves now aswell. He’s so pretty…

I’ve also been getting some new gear, and that I like! Not big big big upgrades, but overall just a pinch in the right direction. My avarege item level is now 213. Nice. All I really need now is a new gun. I hate my Nesingwary 4000. Stupid gun.

And at last. Onyxia is returning. That made me shit bricks, Barbie.

Hell yeah.

Finally home!

So, the last few days, I’ve been visiting some family up north, so there have been no WoW for me. I started feeling a bit bored after a couple of days and I just longed after sitting in vent, not talking, and just crashing through Ulduar. Ah.

I long for Wednesday, when it’s finally time! But also, I’m strongly thinking about not playing until it’s time to raid. I have to cut back on the playing.

I should be sleeping now, wich I can’t. So instead I made this very beautiful forum-sig for our guild forum! Yay me!

One drake up!

Okay, so alot of things has happened since I last wrote.

Midsummer, new feet (no moar leather blues), being raid leader in Ulduar (first time on my own, yikes!), just having a great time…

And finally getting ma epic flying skillz! Heck yeah!
It costed me, literally, ALL my gold. I was left with 1 gold left. And a red paperdoll to repair, grr… not so smart. But after some questing, I got around 500 gold again. So, with all repairbills payed and stuff like that, I’m very happy with my new speedy way of transporting myself.

I’m really gonna try to blog more often. I’m sorry for not being a good blogger.

PTR + huntard = love!

I’ve been snooping around on the PTR this week, and congrats hunters (and shamans), I bring thee some hunter loot! These are all available from the new badge-vendor in Dalaran.

First of, we have a trinket, which is still unnamed. Right now, it is somewhat bugged with a 20 sec duration on use, and 20 sec cooldown. But the stats are good, with almost 4% hit at lvl 80 and over 1k AP. Any DPS would love it, even if some nerds on Wowhead think it’s a bit under the iLvl it should be. Tssk tssk.

Secondly, a totally wonderful helmet, Helm of the Brooding Dragon, that looks really awesome (but i’m still not gonna show helmet, Blizz) and has almost magically beautiful stats and A LOT of agility. Great for any hunter or enh shaman.

The ring, Dexterous Brightstone Ring, is a simpel DPS-ring, with some really nice haste and armor pen. I liek.

And lastly, a pair of nice shoulders, Epaulets of the Devourer, also looks really cool, like the other mail-shoulders.

Of course, I had to try the new trap system out. I put down a Snake Trap, Freezing Trap and Immolation Trap all at once AND VOILA! Magic!
It’s just great, and very nice for PvP. Not very groundbreaking for PvE, since you wont be able to put down a Immolation/Explosion Trap, aswell as Black Arrow. But hey, if a hunter needs to CC something in panic, the traps will most likely not be on cool down.

To infinity and beyond?

I don’t really know what I should write here. I want to write something smart, beautiful and interesting. But i can’t. Or at least I don’t think I can.

So, I’ve been spamming the blog address everywhere, and that should mean that I actually have readers! So, my dear readers…

What do you want me to write about in the blog?

Of course I have ideas, but I don’t want to write about things that no one wants to read about.

Worst. Pug. Ever.

Okay, a quick trip to heroic Violet Hold for some badges… that should not take over an hour! And yeah, I’m not kidding.

Me and a fellow guildmember, a death knight, puged with another DK, a rogue and a holy priest. At first, it went kinda slow. Not bad, but just not so fast. But then, at the second boss, BOOM. Wipe.
That was my first wipe in VH. I have never wiped there before, because it’s idiot-proof and tank and spank!
We wiped at the second boss, again, and then the whole instance got bugged and spawned mobs to the left and right. When the gate, or what ever it is, was down to 15%, the boss spawned. We got him down that time, thank god…

Needless to say, the whole thing went slow and it was buggy. My DPS was low (dunno why, I QQ at blizz for that) and the healer was not healing as much as she was supposed to. Plus, they were awfully quiet. I hate that.

In other news, my little shaman is beginning to get really fun to play! I started her a few weeks ago, and I’m currently at lvl 31 (soon to be 32).
I am a bit tired of ranged DPS, so I go all out Enhancement with my new darling.

Re-blogging?

I have about 1 reader per day, wich is very surprising, since I haven’t bloged since the end of March.
So…

How about a restart?
Yeah.
Why not!

I have so much more to write about now, then I had before. We are starting to clear Ulduar and the guild is really expanding now.
